Cycas Revoluta
The sago palm is by far the most widely used cycad in the New Zealand garden setting. It is very easy to grow and look after. Long, erect glossy dark green leaves form a rosette on a stem. The sago palm is very long lived.

Lepidozamia Peroffskyana
A really beautiful cycad... a personal favourite.
Lepidozamia Peroffskyana has long, glossy, deep green leaves which work into a palm and cycad designed garden extremely well. They are as tolerant of frost as Cycad Revoluta in my experience, however it pays to have them acclimatized to this.
